We offer a variety of services involving scattering ashes in Hawaii, all at very affordable prices. Every ash scattering is individual and separate.
If you are not able to come to Maui, we offer Unattended Ash Scattering Service at the beach or in the mountains. Shipping instructions are easy. We encourage you to send any photos or personal notes that could help us honor your loved one in a more personal way. Each ash scattering is personal and individual. We assure you that we will care for your loved one as if they were part of our own family. All unattended ash scatterings include a tropical handwoven basket carrier, loads of fresh flowers, photos of each step and a memorial certificate that states the date, location and GPS of the ceremony. At your request, we can accommodate any specific religious or nonreligious preferences. After each service, the memorial package including the pictures and memorial certificate will be sent by Dropbox link or text.
Unattended Mountain Ash Scattering Service $400
Our unattended mountain ash scattering is $400. We will choose a location high above the clouds on the pristine slopes of Haleakala Crater. The site will offer breathtaking views of Maui and her neighbor islands. We will transfer the ashes into a traditional weaved basket lined with Ti leaves and tropical flowers.
After spending quiet time with, saying a brief prayer and including any personal notes, we will gently and respectfully scatter your loved one's ashes. Loads of fresh flowers will be laid to honor and remember them. Pictures will be taken at each step (10-12 pics). We will send a Dropbox link or text all the pictures and memorial certificate later that day.
Unattended Ocean Ash Scattering Service $400
Our unattended service involving spreading ashes at sea is $400 and is the most popular service we provide. The ocean ash scattering follows local Hawaiian tradition. This includes notification of the package arrival and expected ceremony date. If you request, we will also text a photo from the beach so you can be there in spirit. We first choose a beautiful day and find a private place on a sandy beach. We will transfer the ashes into a traditional weaved basket lined with Ti leaves and tropical flowers. The ashes will be paddled out, by surfboard into the clear blue Pacific waters. A short prayer and a welcome is said then the ashes are gently scattered. It ends with loads of fresh flowers thrown followed by a big celebration splash. Pictures will be taken at each step (20-25 pics). We will send a Dropbox link or text all the pictures and memorial certificate later that day.
Attended Ash Scattering
If you are visiting Maui, we provide a beautiful and respectful Attended Ash Scattering Service for you and your family or group. We would love to help you in honoring the passing of your loved one. Please contact us by e-mail or phone to discuss your options. We have met so many great people through the years and are confident you will be happy with our service. Our attended service includes up to 6 chairs, a handwoven Lahala basket lined with ti leaves and topped with tropicals and we also include birds of paradise flowers and hundreds of loose tropical flowers for the water. Photos will be taken during the entire service so you can relax and be in the moment. The photos are great for memory's sake and to share with others.

Please note we do not use boats. We find that using boats is too expensive and the ocean seas are too rough for many people. Ocean services at the beach are much more comfortable, affordable, and accessible.
